Our Mission

The overall MISSION of Spiritual Outdoor Adventures is, and always will be, to share the Good New of Jesus Christ.

"This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heardand understood the truth about God's wonderful grace." - Colossians 1:6

To achive this, we endeavor to:
  • Grow in Christian Faith

Expand Our Media Outreach Programming

2018 has been a God-annointed year for the ministry of Spiritual Outdoor Adventures. Our "farming" has been very productive as we have planted the seed of God's word in the United States and 54 additional countries through our Bible Distribution ministry, speaking engagements, television broadcasts, youth initiatives, online textual Bible courses, and outreach to the disadvantaged. As we move foward, we are excited for the two amazing opportunities which are before us:

  • Creating a Spiritual Outdoor Adventures Study Bible for men.
  • Secure a tract of land that can be used for a wide variety of purposes (hunting, fishing, archery, production training, nature hike, on which we will build a Spiritual Outdoor Adventures headquarters facility. This facility will serve multiple purposes including staff offices and studios, Bible classes, museum exhibit including religious and indigenous tribes artifacts and a wild animal exhibit. We will also provide a guest room for overnight lodging.

Resource Distribution

Stewardship
Since the beginning of Spiritual Outdoor Adventures we have distributed $1.45 million dollars of outdoor Bibles and spiritual resources to people who cannot afford them. This continued in 2018 as Bibles were disributed throughout America and Eastern Europe.

Our Initiatives

Expand The Resources for Churches, Small Groups, Families, Men, Teens & Children Children

Carroll Sites graduated to Glory in July 2017. His library consisted of 2,000 religious books including his personal notes. 1,700 of these books have been donated to help build a new library at Liberia Christian College in Monrovia, Leberia, West Africa to train preachers.

We will use serveral thousand dollars of the pledge donations to build shelves and study carrels, and to purchase chairs and desks. This will help the school gain accreditation.

We will grow our ministry platform with the following iniatives:
  • Complete the Bible-based curriculum containing videos and study guides for churches, small group, and families.
  • Upgrade our offices to include a production set for weekly video blogs and online Bible teaching.
  • Grow our staff. and give away more Bibles and spiritual resources.

Preaching the Word

We believe we are called by God to glorify God with every thought, word, and action (Philippians 4:8)

  • Jimmy Sites preached the Gospel to tens of thousands of people in 2018 in convention centers, churches, wild game suppers, music festivals, and outdoor expos.
  • Several hundred people, mainly men, gave their lives over the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at these events. Many other recommitted their lives to God. 90 disadvantaged Third World children were sponsored through Compassion International.
  • Jimmy's Bible classes on Romans and Gnesis at Northfield University (Northfield Church, Gallatin, TN) were recorded and posted online, with over 200 students in the US taking the class. The Romans class was translated and use in Iran, at the University of Nigeria, and other global locations. Over 200 students gave their lives to Christ.

Serving Others

Partnership with Compassion International
Jimmy's partnership with Compassion International has enabled over 2,300 disadvantaged children in 26 Third World countries to be sponsered in Compassion's child developement program and as a result break the poverty cycle for them and their families. An additional 90 children were added in 2018.
