REPORT from the ROAD
During the past few months Jimmy has spoken at numerous wild game dinner events and churches across the country, reaching crowds ranging from 350 to 3,000. Hundreds of men, boys, and ladies made a decision to begin a journey with Jesus as Lord and Savior. Many more rededicated themselves to live more profoundly for God. Follow-up is taking place by the sponsoring churches and men’s groups.

Jimmy often stayed over and spoke at the sponsoring church on Sunday mornings, speaking on behalf of Compassion International. Over 1,600 children have been sponsored at Jimmy’s events. These disadvantaged children in 26 Third World countries will now have a fair chance at life, and will one day break the poverty cycle and be able to take care of 10 family members. Thanks to all who have sponsored a child through Compassion International.

A Road Trip from the Archives (May - June 2009)

            Location: Florida
We filmed a great episode with legendary bass fisherman Hank Parker for his ever-popular fishing show “Hank Parker’s
Outdoor Magazine.” Guess who caught the biggest bass?!

We also filmed a show where Hank will be appearing as a guest on Spiritual Outdoor Adventures. A big
thanks goes out to Greg Bailey and Mike Thompson for setting up this fishing trip and helping us tape it.

The following week Jimmy and his son Jonathan headed to the region near Okeechobee to bow hunt with Danny Santangelo
of Okeechobee Outfitters. Jonathan harvested a fat gator and a huge wild boar. If you would like to hunt with Danny, you
can reach him at: 863-655-2454. Be sure and check out our “Adventures” link to find out how to hunt with us in Florida
          during 2010.

“Danny Santangelo is hands-down one of the best
guides I have ever hunted with. This was our
fourth show to film with Danny, and every one
                                                            of them turned out perfect!”

                                                                                                     Jimmy Sites

On our way home we stopped to visit our good friend Steve Saint, who took us to the Amazon Jungle four years ago
to meet the Indian tribe that killed his father - missionary pilot Nate Saint - in 1956. We had a blast at Steve’s ministry
headquarters near Ocala, Florida -- I-TEC (Indigenous Tribes Educating for Christ). Steve is working on a flying car that
received a six-page story in Popular Mechanics in May of this year. While with Steve the entire Sites family were guest
along with Steve on the national radio show “Life Perspectives” - a one-hour broadcast heard on the American Family
Radio network, Faith Radio, and The Word FM. If you want to know more about I-TEC, you can go online to:
           www.ITECUSA.org.

Next it was off to the University of Illinois where Jonathan competed in a Nike Football Camp along with 250 of the nation’s
           leading high school football prospects.

After celebrating another great wedding anniversary, we finally made it back home to the SOA lodge in the hills of Tennessee
(the snow was from January, not June!). The month of June was spent taking Jonathan to 11 universities for Sr. Prospect Days and
a Rivals Ultimate 100 Camp. Then we spent the summer completing editing projects and turning in the masters for the new season
of episodes that aired 3rd & 4th quarters. Be sure and check out our AIR SCHEDULE button at the top of the page to
find out where we will be airing across the country.

Jimmy’s speaking tour has taken him to several interesting places over the years,

including the small Amish development known as Shipshewanna in Indiana --

a few miles east of Notre Dame.  There he delivered an after-dinner speech to

approximately 600 people, many of them Amish.  The event was the Midwest

Select Deer Breeder’s Auction, where top deer breeders spent over $3 million

dollars in a 24-hour period of time.  Jimmy mentioned the SOA Bible giveaway

and the need for funds, and several thousand dollars was donated by the crowd

after the event as people came by Jimmy’s booth and dropped donations in a

box or pledged part of their profit from sales during the weekend.  All of this

happened by the invite of the man who owns the auction company - Jerry

Campbell.  Thanks Jerry and the good folks from the Deer Breeder’s Association!

Many people will receive Bibles because of you!

Jimmy cleans his hands long enough to pose for a pic with some personnel from

the Sportsman Channel and Safari Club International.

Jimmy and Todd help prepare elk-meat chili in the kitchen with some of the cooks at the Shade Tree Shelter for battered women and children in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Producers and celebrities volunteer to cook and serve. Las Vegas served as the starting point for the tour during SHOT Show week in January 2010.
